I really don’t write too much. Most of the volume is C&P. I have to write all day long at work when I don’t have my face buried in Excel or on a conference call. I just don’t have the energy to put too much thought into this sordid clambake, but I do enjoy sparring with y’all.

It’s an odd number to settle on, when more natural denominations immediately come to mind. $5,000, $10,000, even $25,000 makes more sense just because those are figures that we are taught early on to produce when thinking of large sums of money. He may as well have demanded $6,842.33 for all the trouble it took to decide on a weird number like 7k.
