See, mother nature knows how to take care of shit.
She'd do the same for Cali, but, she hates brown people too.

Maybe when the fucker breaks up, it can send a little rain this way. We've had a few drops in the last several weeks. And it's been hotter than Screwey's laundry room on the day the welfare checks come lately.

Recalling when I was working on a USFS surveying crew the summer of 1959. Ultra-dry conditions. The loggers were under "Hoot Owl" conditions, i.e. no power saws from sun up to sundown. We'd still hear chain saws across the valley. The fire in Marblemount WA that we got called on to fight was allegedly started when a log that was being hauled up a hillside got loose and struck another log---fire by rubbing 2 sticks together.

Hurricane Lane? Sounds like the name of a road in Florida. Oh wait, it is.
HAWAII ISLAND - A "larger than normal uncertainty in the future track of Lane necessitates close attention by interests in the Hawaiian Islands"
over the next few days, weather forecasters say.
Heads up Carolinas. #9 could be trouble. I better get ready.

Looks like the Carolinas will take a major hit from Florence, which is still churning out there in the Atlantic, by the end of next week. Isaac is looking ominous for us here in SW FL.
Looks like Isaac is going to be there first. I'm scratching my head as to how I comes before H. Helene looks to go out into the Atlantic and harass shipping.

Well - it was either fire or water in your case. Looks like you're gonna have to settle for water.
Either way you're gonna be their daughter.

I'll be in California for a wedding, so long as our flight doesn't get cancelled. We're supposed to leave early Thursday morning.

It rained a few hundredths of an inch (sup Screwey) yesterday. Might even get a few more drops today. Fucking grass is going to start growing again if this keeps up.

That video pretty well sums up news these days. Love the way they quickly crop the pic to get rid of the guys who didn't get the memo they were standing in 100 mph winds. That made them look even dumber.....if that's possible.

We cancelled our trip to CA, and are toughing it out in hurricane force 3mph winds. They say we're supposed to get some rain soon.
Good thing about Florence is that it gave me an excuse to miss a wedding.

Who actually watches the Weather Channel? It's been trash for years.

Besides, all the rest of the MSM was going just as fucking apeshit.
You do know there are other television channels (and sources) for weather information, right?

So ML, how many inches did you take these last few days?
I'm talking about rain, you fukking perverts. :x
I would be willing to wager you have had more rain fall on you in the last 3 days than you did for the rest of your desert dwelling ass' days.
Welcome to the SEC where the downpour was invented.

Very little of anything where I live. Breezy at times. Light and steady rain. We've had a lot more rain and wind from the thunderstorms that pass through on a regular basis. I understand the storm is still moving, so maybe we'll get more.
