The company I am working for now, a mid sized DoD contractor has increased staffing by over 10% in the last year and a half.

We aren’t that big. But what is the hatred for stock buybacks? Most tax paying, Americans have a retirement account, mutual fund or pension of some sort. When stocks are repurchased it increases the value of these holdings.
