It really is time to enclose the wheels on these death machines. Prolly won't happen though as these crashes sell tickets.

It wouldn't cost them any speed or maneuverability. In fact, it likely would improve areodynamics.

Good thing nobody was hurt bad or any fire involved. By the time those yokels on the rescue/ crash squads finally get around to getting on scene and doing something shit could go very bad. NASCAR has them all beat to shit on that aspect.
