To another B1G team, in a close game. And I'm guessing that the B1G opponents were tougher on average, just from looking up and down the scoreboards.

It's pretty hard to make any calls after Week 1. A few teams played difficult OOC games, a few teams played conference games, many played pushovers.
Watching UDub vs War Eagle, they kept saying how this game had huge playoff implications. OK I'm sure it had playoff implications but they were putting up numbers like if Washington wins they have a 54% chance to make the playoffs, 24% if they don't. Auburn has 25% chance if they win and 4% if they don't. Or something like that.
What a bunch of bullshit. So much can happen over the course of the season there's no way to make those calls. Even if Washington won, are they saying that they would have a 54% chance of winning out in the PAC12 with probably no losses? Maybe, but with so many unforeseen possibilities down the road? Fuck that. Some teams are just more ready in Week 1 than others. Some teams underachieve for the whole season. Who knows who will be this year's hot freshman or soph that nobody saw coming? Injuries?

And this will come as a shock to absolutely no one, but not a single team from "The Conference" played a true road game in Week 1.
That said, my team scraped by Utah State at home, so I should probly slink out of this thread now...

Well it was kinda like the board game
Risk in that Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Tennessee & LSU all invaded a neighboring state.
