One of the most overrated actors of my lifetime.

Displayed very shallow depth as an actor.

Whenever he appeared on talk shows he showed himself to be slow-witted, uninteresting, and pompous.
He kind of walked out like, "I'm Burt Reynolds. Here I AM."
Like that was supposed to carry him through.

Not impressed.

In Burt's later-life TV appearances he was generally bitter.
He rambled about being skrewed over by his wife's lawyers, carrying with him an undercurrent of anger that was palpable.
He came off as someone who was just too damn stupid.

Burt brought little to the table other than his macho looks.
A big yawn.

He was just Burt being Burt. It worked pretty well for him and he laid the wood to Sally, Loni and one or two others that we’ve all jacked it to.
