Babe Ruth’s home run record. All the others have an asterisk next to their numbers.

Ted Williams- .482 career OBP.
Without a doubt, the greatest hitter ever. Had two wars not gotten in the way, there is a very strong chance he beats the Babe for the HR title as well.

Yeah, nobody’s touching that.
Best thing about him was watching him, he didn’t seem that spectacular. Not the fastest guy in the world or nastiest shot. He was just playing about 3 seconds ahead of everyone on the ice.
He was the Larry Bird of hockey.

Prolly a better way to say it would be, Magic and Bird were the Gretzky of the NBA.

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned DiMaggio 56.

He was the Babe Ruth of hockey. He didn't just set records he, obliterated them. As great a great a goal scorer as he was he was even more proficient putting the puck on his teammates sticks. Here is a list of the 10 best seasons for assists ever.
1.Wayne Gretzky*163 1985-86
2.Wayne Gretzky*135 1984-85
3.Wayne Gretzky*125 1982-83
4.Wayne Gretzky*122 1990-91
5.Wayne Gretzky*121 1986-87
6.Wayne Gretzky*120 1981-82
7.Wayne Gretzky*118 1983-84
8.Wayne Gretzky*114 1988-89
Mario Lemieux*114 1988-89
10.Wayne Gretzky*109 1980-81
Wayne Gretzky*109 1987-88
That's nine out of the top 10 assist seasons ever. I guarantee you nobody is coming even remotely close to doing that again.
