My biggest take away from Saturday

Just how far Nebraska has fallen.
One of the traditional powers in college football has become a shit show.
They get stream rolled by a good but not great Michigan team?
Should have stayed in the B 12 where they could at least have a winning record.
I remember the wars the day after Thanksgiving with OU.
You could always mark that game down as one of the best of the year.
Pathetic and embarrassing.

I remember when Tom Osborne brought Dave Remington and company to Auburn in '82 and proceeded to beat us 41-7 and we had Bo Jackson.
Now they're a homecoming patsy.

I was the only person in pick 'em to pick Texas Tech over OK ST. That means of course I am smarter than every single one of you, but not that needed confirmation.
Oh and Eastern Michigan's coach Chris Creighton is going to get a big time job next year and he's gonna kick a lot of ass.

Justin Herbert may be the best QB in CFB.
That being said, I think Stanford is finally set at QB for the next couple of seasons.

Mine? ND beat Michigan with their back up quarterback.

My takeaway -- As Army walked off the field, OU fans gave them a standing ovation for putting up such a great effort. As Stanford walked to the tunnel, a few (and they're NOT representative of the fanbase) threw water bottles and other shit at the Stanford players.
Not cool. And while it's been several years since I've been to a game, I've never witnessed such douchebaggery (Beaver fans... different story. Common practice).
Not that it means much, but I'd like to offer my personal apology to the Stanford players (which they'll obviously never see). Complete horseshit, and they should have been congratulated for not giving up and eking one out, against all late-game probability.
That's my pissed off takeaway. Win with class, lose with class.
Fucking dickheads. "New Duck fan" is a fucking idiot.

Question. Could the Ducks have run out the clock by taking a knee? Would it have at least burned most of the clock?
Forgive me but I was involved in an epic OT tilt between San Diego State and E. Michigan.

I believe, after after hearing Monday morning QBing, they could have punted with 12 seconds left. You win some, you lose some (rebuilding year). But bad fan behavior is unacceptable (and out of character). A freshman RB extended the ball to get the few inches for the first down to ice the game... and fumbled. Fucking freshmen.

I saw a clip of the bottles flying and couldn’t believe it. I get the frustration but come on it’s a fucking football game.
Coach taking a lot of flack for “bad clock management.” They could have taken a knee and punted with 12 seconds left. Could have run around the backfield and taken a few more seconds off. Stanford could have put Love back and maybe returned the kick. It is what it is. The Ducks looked unbeatable for about 2.75 quarters. Stanford benefited from a couple or three HUGE breaks, which they made the most of and escaped Autzen with a W. Stanford is now 4-0 and starting to gel.
I wouldn’t want to be Cal this coming Saturday.
If Stanford goes to 5-0 I’ll have to believe they’re for real.

Let’s not kid ourselves. The player and coaches had little to do with cleaning the locker room. The equipment staff worked their bags off to get the room looking like that. Still awesome though.
