Looks like it's going to scrub down your shithole state, Melty. Just stand outside and you can skip this week's bath.

In South Carolina the last storm washed out a million gallons or so of pig shit. This could dwarf even that storm in terms of water pollution.

I understand that typing two sentences on the computer is a serious workout for an obese POS like you, not so much so for those of us who take care of ourselves.

Papa Willie wrote:Yup. Won’t surprise me if our power is out for a week. I’ve got to be in Tampa Friday through Sunday, so I’ll be in better shape, but probably not so much for the family...
Hopefully a power outage will give the board a brief respite from your horrific posts.

I'm still waiting to see how St. George Island fared. Saw whatever weather channel (Bettis maybe) meteorologist was in Apalachicola and it looks like the surge was not as bad as they thought. St. Marks was another story though.

Mexico Beach might know what a Cat 5 is now.

The guy driving that car sounded pretty scared and I don't blame him.

The local weather station just tweeted out one of their crew on U.S. 98 between Panacea and Carabelle and it's hard to believe how bad the destruction is. The dude is basically walking the road with the truck behind him since he is making sure they can pass.

U.S. 98 in that area was such a great drive. I almost bought property up there a few years ago.

I work with a guy whose house was five miles to the east of the eye. I say "was" because he is assuming that it is no longer there, but has no idea since there are no passable roads to where he lives right now. He's hoping that it either is untouched or is completely gone, because his storm damage deductible is likely to mean he won't rebuild seeing as the insurance company told him his house's value was four times what he could sell it for on the actual market.

These drone shots on Weather Channel show some amazing destruction. The structures around the Mexico Beach Canal are all gone. Couple of places on stilts still stand, but it looks like the storm surge got 99% of them.

You're argument is that AGW doesn't exist because your friend came out fine while some other town got razed to the ground?

My argument on AGW is that they’re using 150 years of data to cherry pick from as opposed to almost 4.6 billion years of data. Am I being unreasonable?
More like 800,000 years. Get your head out of your ass.

Congrats! Now you’re using 0.00018% of available information! So you’ve got a book that explains everything there is to know about AGW. The book is 5,625 pages long, but you know everything that’s in the book because you’ve read 1 page.
You do know AGW is a phenomena that started with the industrial revolution?
