Hey Red suck owner.....

....how's about this century, you not sell your best pitcher to the Yankees.

I am sure Wolfie and Goobs remember a century ago, how the Red Sox were stacking WS trophies like cord wood. Then their asshole owner decided peddling his ace pitcher, who could also hit a little, to their arch rivals was a good idea.

Actually, arch rivals prolly isn't the right term as the Yanks were shit at the time.

Anyhoo, rack the sawks. They have one hell of a largely homegrown, young team. Keep this shit up and they could end up the Yankees of the 21st century.

And rack DP who FINALLY figured out how to pitch in games that matter. I was a little concerned about yanking him when he was cruising along. 6 strike outs later, I was a little less concerned.

Wonder if the BoSox will jack up the price of seats for spring ball here at Little Fenway (Jet Blue Park)? Ya think? Rack them for dispatching the Dodgers in 4 games. Guess I'll have to put up with annoying Red Sox fan for another year.

The Sox played a great series. The Dodgers were an embarrassment - which is fine by me. It’s funny how the fan base an local press of a team that hasn’t won a WS in 30 years can still come off seeming like they’re somehow entitled.

BTW, Wolfie, it was five games. Can’t blame you if you fell asleep before the end of game 3.

Most people were up the next morning by the time game 3 ended.

Both the Red Sox and the Cubs have lost whatever cachet they had once they won the World Series. The Sox are just Yankees North and the Cubs are just another past WS winner. It was a whole lot more fun rooting for them with the expectation that they would figure out some horrible way to lose for the umpteenth season in a row.

It’s the baseball equivalent of a haunted house that everybody swears they have seen a ghost in, only when examined in the daylight those scary sounds are just a door whose hinges need oiling. Boring.

Wanna know what’s really hard to wrap your head around?

Any Sox fan old enough to remember watching the Sox lose a series, is old enough to run for president.

Having grown up in New England, that is unimaginable and on a certain level, kinda sad.
