FWIW, Sagarin's ranks:

1 SEC-WEST
2 BIG TEN-EAST
3 SEC-EAST
4 BIG 12
5 PAC-12(NORTH)
6 ACC-ATLANTIC
7 BIG TEN-WEST
8 PAC-12(SOUTH)
9 ACC-COASTAL


That's done through statistical analysis, but seems to echo the eyeball test.
