I skimmed through the interview. She seems to have a pleasant demeanor. And it's not like fat people from Georgia are known for their eloquence (sup... nevermind). What I saw, she wants to give her city employees araise, because she believes they are underpaid. Wants to fill potholes (helps with livability). And trim branches back from the street, an extremely wise plan, especially if overhead power lines are present. And some pie-in-the-sky ideas about attracting business (a benefit to any community).

All sound like good ideas to me. What else does a small-town mayor do -- propose radical changes to the city's leash laws? Replace the rusty swingset in the park?
