Better than Def Leppard?

I'll wait for Melton's input.

Rick Medlocke lives down the road from me. I've exchanged small talk with him a couple of times when I saw him in public.

I saw Blackfoot open for Deep Purple when the Mark II version of Deep Purple reformed in 85. They were completely unannounced they must have been booked like the day before and they went out there and just kicked ass. One of the best opening acts I've ever seen.

I saw this group from Canada open up for Blue Oyster Cult in 1977, or was it 1976? Just three guys, the drummer was pretty amazing and the singer had a really high voice.
Did they fiatlux then, too?

Triumph was pretty decent band.

Yeah, us "old guys" talk about seeing Led Zep, DP, and Pink Floyd (I saw them), and when you're an "old guy" (which is coming MUCH faster than you think), you'll be able to reminisce about seeing... MGMT?

You're a fucking faggot (not that there's anything wrong with that).

So:
A) You we’re going to multiple concerts in kindergarten,
B) You don’t know shit about them,
C) You are as old as dirt,
Or
D) You are full of shit,
Or some combination there of.

The band didn't adopt the name Blackfoot until 1970, so it'd be hard for Blackfoot to play their last gig before they existed.

So what? He said he saw the original band play. The original band was a quintet that played their last gig in 1969. But thanks for going all Dims in me.

Yes, he did. A band called Blackfoot.
The original band was a quintet that played their last gig in 1969.
Perhaps there was a quintet that played their last gig in 1969, but that band wasn't called Blackfoot, which hadn't even played its first gig yet.
But thanks for going all Dims in me.
I'm sure I didn't actually do that, but if pointing out your obvious errors (like shooting fish in a barrel) is "going all Dims," then I'm just one in a long line.

There were many original bands not called Blackfoot. A band whose members later became Blackfoot may have formed under a different name. And the band Papa Willie was clearly discussing was called Blackfoot. The members of Blackfoot may have played together under different names, but no one can claim they saw Blackfoot play until the band starting using the name. Maybe they saw Hammer or Fresh Garbage, but to say someone who claims to have seen an "original" band is lying because the band broke up before they started using the name is, not surprisingly considering the source, a load of horse shit.

He didn’t say he saw the original Blackfoot he specifically said he saw the original band. Ron left the original band in 1969. Don’t blame me for his mistake.

Anyone else notice that queerland is making a run on official board bitch on screwey? They are both putting on a clinic in this thread.

Gross is an adjective. A perjorative, is a noun, I believe as in board bitch.

Du Jour is an adjective.....in French......and English......and in pretty much any country that serves a "soup of the day".

I was really tossed up on the Board Bitch vote when I first looked at it. Since the midget was such a clear runaway choice last year, I was hesitant to cast a vote or him again this year and allow him to repeat with Screwed in the Ass being such a strong contender.

But the second butchering of this term, even in the remotest possibility of it being in jest, may overcome Screwed's home stretch run. You are truly the dumbest mother fucker to ever post here.

Go ahead and throw up your concert list dick face and let's see if you can top us old guys....I have well over 200 on my list in the last 45 years, and many are originals.

You on the other hand, will continue to remember your Men at Work, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Air Supply, Wham, and Boy George shows as the most awesome concerts you ever went to, since after all the faggotry side of the music is what you really love.

I never saw Blackfoot or any incarnation of Blackfoot.

I did see Focus open for Yes at Winterland sometime around 73 (Close to the Edge). The walls were melting that night and Steve Howe was personally speaking to me with his guitars, but Focus pretty much sucked ass.
