That was back in the day of the bowl tie-ins. The ACC (well before the Big East phase out) champ went to the Citrus Bowl.
I remember the year before when #2 Georgia Tech beat #19 Nebraska in the Citrus to win a share of the MNC. Brutal.

You can't just pull up a replay of a game where the wishbone was still a thing and have people take you seriously. Big deal the Pac was relevant during Clinton's first term. What was Cal doing when SC and Oregon were owning the conference. Yeah that's right, talking about how that guy stuffed a football into a tuba.

Too funny. M2 is arguing against himself. He has repeatedly told us how winning the time of possession is the real winner of the game. That was Bama the other night. So this crappy comparison to Clemson is just two loser programs, Cal and Clemson.
