Eagerly awaiting 88braincells, L45Antoinette, Duhron, Left Shitter, sirfuckafist and Melty to strap on their Trump kneepads and explain how Trump interfering with a Congressional investigation into his treasonous work with Putin is just no big deal. You traitors deserve to be incarcerated with your boy for supporting this traitorous asswipe and selling democracy down the river to support your authoritarian objectives. Fuck you.

And it's only going to get worse from here.

President Trump Directed His Attorney Michael Cohen To Lie To Congress About The Moscow Tower Project

https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ja ... f=hpsplash

President Donald Trump directed his longtime attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, according to two federal law enforcement officials involved in an investigation of the matter.

Trump also supported a plan, set up by Cohen, to visit Russia during the presidential campaign, in order to personally meet President Vladimir Putin and jump-start the tower negotiations. “Make it happen,” the sources said Trump told Cohen.

And even as Trump told the public he had no business deals with Russia, the sources said Trump and his children Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr. received regular, detailed updates about the real estate development from Cohen, whom they put in charge of the project.

Cohen pleaded guilty in November to lying about the deal in testimony and in a two-page statement to the Senate and House intelligence committees. Special counsel Robert Mueller noted that Cohen’s false claim that the project ended in January 2016 was an attempt to “minimize links between the Moscow Project and Individual 1” — widely understood to be Trump — “in hopes of limiting the ongoing Russia investigations.”

Now the two sources have told BuzzFeed News that Cohen also told the special counsel that after the election, the president personally instructed him to lie — by claiming that negotiations ended months earlier than they actually did — in order to obscure Trump’s involvement.

The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents. Cohen then acknowledged those instructions during his interviews with that office.

This revelation is not the first evidence to suggest the president may have attempted to obstruct the FBI and special counsel investigations into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

But Cohen's testimony marks a significant new frontier: It is the first known example of Trump explicitly telling a subordinate to lie directly about his own dealings with Russia.

On the campaign trail, Trump vehemently denied having any business interests in Russia. But behind the scenes, he was pushing the Moscow project, which he hoped could bring his company profits in excess of $300 million. The two law enforcement sources said he had at least 10 face-to-face meetings with Cohen about the deal during the campaign.

Trump's so truthful and honest, we should just take his word for it.

Melty--Collusion and conspiracy with regards to Russia is 1000000x worse than lying about blowjobs, so beat it.

Not sure why you’re lumping me into your little daily obsession. I could give two fucks what happens. Just as long as the worthless government stays shut down, and I get my tax money refunded with an itemized receipt, then I’ll be satisfied.

Unlike you, I believe in a set of principles of how a functional society should / shouldn’t operate. In most cases, the people at the controls of government are slimeballs trying to line their pockets (with my money), therefore trying to keep alive some bureaucratic vehicle that should no sooner be taken out back and lit on fire.

And then there’s you who just cries and whines and/or salivates over these idiot politicians day in and day out. Some of the most worthless people on the planet who create more problems than they solve. But keep it up, you provide decent entertainment value for just how pathetically you drivel on and on and on.

The move to impeach Trump has nothing to do with left/right.
It's a little more "nuanced" than that. Identify the actors and form your own conclusion.

The most truthful think Trump has ever said is (and I paraphrase) that he could shoot somebody in the middle of Times Square and most of his fanbase would still happily get down on their knees and fellate him with great gusto because, at least, he's not a "liberal."

Easy there, Screwy. Simmah da nah. Buzzfeed isn’t exactly the gold standard in factually accurate reporting, so perhaps we should actually see what cards Mueller has in his hand?. After all the swings and misses Big Media has had to zero effect against Trump, at this point I am quite content to wait and see some, you know, real evidence.

Mueller's office disputes the BuzzFeed report, saying it's inaccurate.

Wait -- an exclusive breaking news story from a website where the sole focus is cat videos and celebrity weddings and stupid quizzes was bullshit?

But a whole buncha folks in Congress are making complete fools of themselves over it.

Webster’s and others list synonyms for wrong, and include not accurate.

So now you have fallen to making up alternative definitions for common words? Seriously seek help.

You can not seriously be a lawyer.

People pay for your services?

1. Who gives a shit what opinions the NYT, WaPo, MSNBC, or CNN put out there? They are irrelevant.

2. Read the statement from Mueller's office. It did not repudiate the scenario (Trump ordered Cohen to give false testimony) that was Buzzfeed's bottom line. Did you read the statement? Do you have a working brain?

Trump may or may not have ordered Cohen to give false testimony, but with its statement, Mueller's office most definitely did not say that he didn't.

BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the special counsel’s office, and characterization of documents
and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s congressional testimony are not accurate

Are you implying those cat videos were staged? CGI, perhaps?

To be clear, Mueller does not comment on his investigation, nor does he affirm or deny “news” stories about what is going on behind the scenes, yet he made the specific point of making the public statement telling us that the Buzzfeed scoop is “inaccurate.” The mildness of that word is juxtaposed against the dearth of comments from Mueller, this leading me to believe that he really is saying it is complete and utter bullshit, but is too polite to say so.
