He signed an Executive Order eliminating the death penalty.

Never mind the voter of CA voted in 2016 to keep the death penalty and in fact speed up the process.

Discuss.

Not surprising. Not enforcing illegal immigration is likely something most Californians would not approve of either. Democrats don't care about what most of the citizens want once they have a super majority.

I'm sure that is their main strategy for not wanting to enforce immigration. Once they have a Super Majority Nation wide, they'll force their agendas on the population.

With a super majority in the three west coast states, the Demorats agenda is coming to fruition. Disarm the populace, give everybody free shit, take over business's, drive business's out. It is all good.

Oregon voters reinstated the death penalty in 1984. The governors have declared moratoriums since around 1998. But constitutionally, that is their prerogative.

Valid point. Just wondering if that is a good move if you want to keep your elected position?

And 84 to 98 is a decent amount of time for opinions to change. 16 to 19, not quite so much.

It has been proven that in California that a politician could bugger a little boy on the steps of the Capitol at high noon and not face censure of any kind and in fact likely be applauded for his diversity. Striking down the death penalty despite what the voters said, will be seen as just another liberal political move in the land of fairy enchantment.

I am ok with the death penalty, but I couldn’t be part of a jury that sentenced someone else to death.

I don’t think I would want to witness it either. How did you end up as a witness JSC?
