Some of those smaller plants look like stinging nettle.

Not the time of year to start them up down here. I grew some over a couple winters. One plant produced nice fruit (fruit=contains seeds) from December to April. I just get them at Publix these days. Herbs like oregano, basil, and parsley are easy to grow here. My lemon tree required a severe pruning and is looking OK for the 2019 crop.

I have the first few six packs of summer veggies in and most have sprouted. Also found a good supplier for bareroot fruit trees so put in a bunch of those this winter. Onions, celery and leeks went in in November and are doing great. Lettuce, spinach and peas are finishing up. Might try artichokes later in the spring.
