David Allen shows up in bars around here pretty regularly. Dude hasn’t been the same in the last 20 years. Haven’t seen him ramble as you have but annoyingly he used to roll from one song into the next and you would get three songs over maybe 4 minutes with strange transitions.
That said Willie Waylon and me and that song everyone here has sung along to in a bar at some point are Epcot.

DAC had a place towards the lower middle of my bucket list a couple of years ago.
The wife and I have attended many concerts over the last few years and were about
to buy tix for his upcoming show. During a YouTube search for the .net Saturday morning
feature song, I stumbled across a vid from one his recent shows. It was exactly as you
described with some Ted Nugentesque politico ramblings. YouTube saved me from
wasting about $80 if I recall correctly.

Well looky here if it isn't the northern guy who got to see DAC over 30 years ago as an opener for Neil Young when Neil was going through one of his country music phases. One of the cooler opening acts I've ever seen.
