Dem.

Poverty is more important than killing Arabs. Says so in the Bible, but those parts have been ignored by the moral majority.

Taking care of God's earth is more important than excluding gays. Says so in the Bible, but those parts have been ignored by the moral majority.

Is fiscally conservative social moderate an option?

Last time I looked at the dictionary, one of the meanings for viable is:

"Capable of success or continuing effectiveness"

Whether or not you believe in what the Democratic party and their candidates stand for, I don't see viability as one of their strengths at this moment in time.

By all means, stop taking a stand for what you believe is right. Get a little more wishy-washy, would ya?

TIA

I have to apologize, am new here and getting used to the forum and had a couple of windows open and put that specific reply to someone in a political discussion referring to "democrats as a viable party" in this one by mistake. It wasn't meant for a reply here.

So, to really answer the question in this forum since I put my foot in accidentally, I am a Republican. I thought for many years I was a Libertarian, voted that way for a long time and still do when I have the option. But in the present political landscape where we all need to be red or blue, I'm red.

Face it Mike, if Rudy or Ahnold were in red states, they would be Democrats. They're Republicans because they wanted to advance their careers.

Naw....they represent the Moderate and Liberal wing of the party no question, however I'd say it's a bit of a stretch to read anymore into it than that. I'd say it's a better bet that Maria will change affiliations before Ahhhhnold. JMO

A lot closer to reality than a majority of Democrats.

Independent.

I refuse to contribute to the "your group, my group" bullshit mentality that occurs with the Democrats and Republicans. I vote on how I feel about issues, and whomever represents my views the best gets my vote.

So Pol Pot was a Marxist? Get a fucking grip.

He mumbled a few Marxist phrases in order to obtain help from China in the mid-late seventies. I think you'll find most of the deaths in Phnom Penh were the responsibility of the Americans.

Oh and sorry to break this to you, but Star Wars wasn't real either.
