His comparisons to Reagan conservatives are 100% false, and are
revisionist history.
Once he crossed that line, he can no longer be considered a true historian or journalist.
He's really really good with his amazing documentary on country music.
But on history, his credibility is damaged by his warped political ideology.
Like most left wing socialists, he is detached from reality.
