Did Epstein hang himself? Or was it a homicide?

We know from the flight manifests from Epstein's plane, that on flights to his lolita island, Bill Clinton was on 27 of those flights.
But what's really interesting is that on 6 of those flights, he was without his secret service detail.
Can anyone give me a logical explanation of why Bill would ditch his secret service going to an Island filled with nubile young girls?
