The premise of the article is flawed. Hitler embraced elements of Marxism therefore National Socialism =/= Marxism?
A great deal of modern capitalist thought now embraced, was articulated by Marx. Therefore Marxism =/= Capitalism?
Marxism a tool you employ for interpretation. National Socialism used a Keynesian economic model for the most part. Some exceptions, a national labour service was more about keeping kids off the street, rather than out breaking windows - not much else to do, that was circumstantial. Class was replaced with race. Nazism is a hodge-podge, it begged and stole from everything. It's a massive subject.
It was highly nationalistic, which was common with most socialist countries. Highly militarised, as with most socialist countries. I can see that being a problem with those of a liberal outlook and an accusation from those with a rightist perspective.

However, would you also agree that fascists rule over socialist governments. Communism is also government control socialism.
By definition, government control is authoritarian and fascist.
Which is why our founders wanted nothing to do with top down government control.
Our bill of rights protects us from government control.
My problem with the left wing socialist party today is their absolute love for government control.
