Asterisk.

If you're not cheating you're not trying?

Everybody cheats somehow?

They were the best team anyway?

Houston, we have a problem...

Hasn't stealing signs been something everyone tries to do since the blacksox scandal, maybe longer?

Lol, get real. They weren't simply relaying signs from second base to the batter. They had an elaborate system sending the broadcast video feeds directly into the dugout where they then audibly communicated the signs to the batter. Astros bench coach Alex Cora begins to call the replay room to obtain sign information (illegal). Manfred warned teams in 2017 to stop using electronic communication to steal signs. And they did it in 2017, 2018, and parts of 2019!

The Astros stole their title and the Blo Sux 2018 title is tainted as well. Thank God and G0d the Nats beat these cheating pieces of shit. Can you imagine if they won again?

Oh and rack jizz mopping for getting the ball rolling.
On November 12, 2019, former Houston Astros player Mike Fiers publicly alleged in an article published by Ken Rosenthal and Evan Drellich of
The Athletic that the Astros had engaged in sign-stealing methods in 2017 that violated MLB’s rules. The allegations in the article created significant concern among many of our fans and other MLB Clubs regarding the adherence to our rules by those participating in our games, and the principles of sportsmanship and fair competition.

Cora's on thin ice already after last year. Ask Terry Francona how loyal the Sux ownership is to their managers. I could easily see them using this as a reason to dump him.

Yeah, because they were stealing signs they won. Great rationale there you moron. If every team that stole signs and some how magically converted every stolen pitch into in play ball contact every time then you would be seeing NBA type scoring in MLB.

Obviously you have never played or coached at any level.

Ok, tiny tweaker. If it wasn't so bad why did not only MLB suspend them without pay for a year but why were they fired for these transgressions?

Take your time. We'll wait.

You just have to love how the tiny lawyer (allegedly) tells people here about their actual vocations.

He tells Lefty how to fly planes.

He tells Duhron how to play with dirt.

Dude, can I have your phone number? I got an xray in New Haven that's got me and my company's product specialist stumped the last few days.

And it is in areas where even people completely ignorant of a topic, know the right answer.

All aircraft have a max safe landing weight.
1 dead engine is an emergency.
A light fuel spritz will wash off.
Some soils perform better if you add sand, presumably for drainage reasons.

He makes flat earf poptard look smart.

Now if you can tell me why a SD 7555i throws 0118 errors for every scanned item, I would be much obliged.

Have you checked the Fetzer valve? Come on, it’s all ball bearings these days.

7555i does not have a fetzer valve. The last 7555 to have a fetzer valve was the echo. Those fukkin' things were nothing but trouble.

I'll bet queerland knew that.

But you are the Board Bitch. 2 years running now by a landslide each year. I am just reminding you of that fact, since you seem to lose sight of it on a daily basis. You must love these day beat downs you get ,to keep coming up with all the supporting material for your well deserved title. You can try and deflect all you want, but the fact remains everybody on here with the exception of your two runners up, poptard and fiat sux thinks you are a tedious little bitch.

Now Carlos Beltran has been fired as the Mets manager. Best manager in Mets history: 0-0.

"No big deal," says Duhron, the tiny tweaker.

Adding sand to almost any soil is stupid especially in western Oregon where he was working. You want to die on that beach too?
As far as the plane, one more time for the idiots. I’m only telling you what the pilot said, you know the guy with more hrs than you, BrokenPsyche and the Tiny Tweaker combined. Why are you fucks so stupid that you get caught on one argument and then just pound it? Address the fucking issue. How was it critical when the pilot says it wasn’t? Why do you think it was a good idea when the pilot says it wasn’t? He said he didn’t need to dump and then he dumped. What happened?
Is it even possible for you to move this forward? I feel like I’m taking to a monkey.

The issue isn't stealing signs, it's the way they were stolen. We all understand that every team attempts to steal signs. If you are able to do so through study and brain power, then kudos to you. That's part of the game. But if you are doing so through the elaborate use of MLB technology, then that's pretty fucking weak, and you should pay the price. There is no intellect or gamesmanship in simply recording the signs by video then relaying the signs to the batter. When the hitter knows if it's a fastball or a breaking ball coming, that is a massive advantage. Go look at the home/road splits for the Astros the year they won the title and you will see that many of their hitters were substantially better at home (when they could cheat) than on the road (when they couldn't cheat). I don't think that was just due to home field advantage, which isn't a huge deal in MLB.

Astros had better stats on the road vs home and a better W-L so nothing is guaranteed in life when it comes to baseball. They still had to win two on the road to beat the Dodgers in the W/S. Also, try to explain where McCullers’, Peacock’s and Charlie Morton’s dominating pitching performances come into play of the sign stealing in Games 6&7 of the ALCS and game 7 of the WS? Cheating is still cheating though and they paid a hefty price for it, but there are no guarantees the outcome would’ve changed. If everyone is doing it in some manner and Alex Cora and Beltran brought it over to the Astros young core, what makes you think the big 3 weren’t doing it as well?

Oh well. The damage is done and I wish it didn’t happen. Sucks for my beloved franchise.

I agree.
Strip the Astros 2017 title
Ban the franchise from the post season for 6 years
No draft picks for 3 years
Lifetime ban for Alex Cora
2 year post season ban for each player who was on the Astros post season roster for each year from '17-'19 no matter what team they go to. If a player was there for all 3 years, no matter what team they go to, they can't play in the postseason until 2027.
The Patriots exist. There's no point in an SMU death penalty.

Wagon's Royals sending a message.

Three plunked batters.

That's unsportsmanlike. Someone's gonna get hurt. What's the penalty for intentionally beaning someone?

Also, looks weird with no one in the stands... like 14th inning die hards only shit.

Get back to me when they win the game and hit three batters.

Its MLB baseball so I couldn't care less. But you clearly still haven't mastered reading comprehension.

I wasn't talking about the World Series, I was talking about the Astros beating the Royals in a game in which the Royals hit three batters as some sort of payback. The Royals were getting their ass handed to them and said fukkk it and just started hitting batters.

I would be impressed if they were plunking batters and still won the game. They didn't, and I am not.
