You're right. The threads can be merged or deleted.
My reasoning was that each continent is different. What passes for Rules of the Road in Europe probably won't be the same in Asia. Live Leaks are better than scared straight.
Some countries are more dangerous for women to travel than others. Cyprus has history, but is Cyprus safe?
Some regions should be avoided entirely (Carson is correct on that point) -- which is why I didn't specify the Holy Land/the Middle East. Yeah, Bahrain and the UAE are supposed to have all sorts of shit ... but they hate women, they hate blacks, they hate Christians; and they're slave states. Who wants to travel to an active war zone?
War zones are also another reason to separate continents. If all of the cool shit is in Botswana, how to get there without getting blown out of the sky?
