Anyone who has never heard of Pikkkle or EAP

I like chat and I like Smackie's show.
He does an excellent job.

I typically have meetings during this time.
It just isn't usually possible for me to hang in chat for a long period of time on Saturday late morning, early afternoon.

R Jack would have boasted he's too pre-occupied with being balls deep, but you take the stoic's approach.

What would you prefer to hear after the meetings?

R-Joke is a .net worm who actually posted in here about how his wife cucked him.

Well, at least he didn't post a pic of himself in panties.

Elvis loved Demerol.
Cialis wasn't invented yet.

Always a good time. Glad to see it back for now. I'll keep trying to get a set up that works with Mac OSX Catalina.

Elvis wasn't where he wanted to be. The Colonel made sure of that. No Colonel, no Demerol. You think he had the chops to seque into serious acting, with better management? or nah?

You are correct.
The colonel was a marketing guy
A promoter.
But elvis's unique sound, the fusion of black blues with white country, and his ability to interpret music with soul depth and diversity, ultimately made him an icon.
In such a brief career, his chameleon soulful voice was always changing.
The punk upstart of the 50's sounds nothing like the smooth velvet voice of the early 60's.
Or the gritty soul of the 68 special or the 69 sessions at american studios in Memphis.

Barbara Streisand met elvis in vegas 1969, when elvis was in top shape and form. Just 5 years later, she remembered how insanely beautiful he looked in 1969, and decided to offer him the part of the self destructive aging rock star, in the remake of "A star is born".
But when she went back to vegas to offer him the role, it was a completely different person. Drugged out of his mind and slipping away from life.
On her drive back to Malibu, she and her husband were inconsolable.
The part went to kris kristofferson and maybe it was a blessing in disguise, because the film was a piece of garbage.

But take a look at elvis in his 4th film, "king creole" from 1958.
He was pretty damn good in that film. So who knows?

I find it remarkable that he packed such a diverse body of critically acclaimed studio recordings in multiple genres of music, in such a brief career.

But the colonel was nothing.
Elvis was a unique force of nature. I don't care who his manager was.
He was self destructive and addicted to drugs, so his time on earth was never going to last very long.
But he left a legacy of glorious music for future generations to enjoy.
