Member of the Perfect Season Dolphins and Csonka's partner in crime.

Not exactly a HOF running back, but a solid one on that team.

Apparently he was as senile as Joe Biden, so he's definitely in a better place than sitting in a chair soling himself at Shady Pines.

RIP

And yeah, I know. Old news, but I don't believe I've been GD'd

He's only 72.

If Austin is the one actually taking care of the old man, why lead off with Allie's struggle with mono and refusal to call her dad anymore because the old man annoys her? She doesn't even check in on him for him, but only to talk about herself.

SI was either being thirsty or slick....

Anyway, if he's 72, where are his other children? How normal is it for football players to start families 25 years after their greatest achievement?

From the same article:
“I had many, many discussions with Coach Shula, arguing, ‘I don’t understand why a guy at 215 is blocking for a guy at 240,’ ” says Jim Kiick, whose long-term memory remains fairly sound. “He gave me a dirty look and said, ‘Just get back in there.’
Why are the oldest memories the last to go?

Do you think he regrets the move to the WFL? How bad was the NFL to even think about it?

My heart breaks for Austin. He was just a kid, but he stepped up in a profound way.
