Enough with the peaceful native bullshit.

Native Americans were no different from any other tribes. You warred with one another. Stole from one another. You are flawed just like the rest of us.

The only thing that separated Euros is that they figured out how to work together and invent shit which they could use to get over.

Another thing different is that they understood this flawed human nature and knew the best way to deal with it was to set rules in place saying you can't take someone else's shit. All this "the land does not belong to you" bullshit is nothing more than marxist propaganda.

If something "belongs" to someone, it becomes in that person's interest to take care of it and improve it.

You can take your romantic ideas of a simpler life where everyone was more in tune with nature and shove them. It was a brutal, hard life. If you saw your 40th birthday, you were lucky.

Capitalism has given us the prosperity to take a few days off and go out in the woods and pretend to live that primitive life for a few days. Then we get back to AC and running water.

Thanks for pointing out what a wonderful service the white colonists did for the natives. most tribes today don’t fully appreciate all the wonderful gifts they’ve been bestowed.

Have you lived or worked on the rez to know?

Live? No.
Work. Temporarily, long time ago.

I’m sure you’re familiar with sarcasm, since it’s used regularly on the boards.

Do you really think it’s necessary to live and work on a rez in order to “know”?

I really don’t get where you come from

There's sarcasm, then there is the rez system -- especially when placed beside Jim Crow and it's aftermath.

Do you really think it’s necessary to live and work on a rez in order to “know”?
On this case, probably. It's a lot more complicated than turning indigenous people into magical Fey.

What did you notice when you were there?

Department of the Interior needs to be torn down and rebuilt from the bottom up.

I noticed at least half of the residents could not care less. About anything. Including themselves.

One does not need to live on a Rez to understand what a pathetic existence it is.
