High ratings for the interview are understandable, as people are drawn to sordid behavior being revealed.

There is something more intense about such personal details being revealed when it is done by a family member.


Regarding the election, I don't see much enthusiasm at all for Biden.

At this point, though, it does appear that some of those who were enthusiastic for Donald in 2016 will be moved this time around to go the opposite direction, because folks are not better off now than they were 4 years ago.

That said, it is only July.

There is a long way to go and a lot of things will happen before November.

Donald seems to have no inclination at all to try to grow his base by making overtures to those on the left.

If dump’s base is the only turnout, due to total apathy from the rest of the nation, it is the only pathway for re-election.
