And it was the best thing that could have happened to him.
My wife’s uncle, 88 years old. Spent pretty much all of the last decade drooling, passing and shitting on himself.
Full on senile.
I’m sure his entire family is relieved that his suffering is over.
I’d be interested to see numbers on how many of the 200k allegedly taken out by the ‘Rona are in Uncle Norm’s category.
Because in each of these, it is not a curse, but a blessing.
RIP Uncle Norm. You were a funny guy for the first 15-20 years I knew you. Too bad we live in a society that says we must go to heroic measures to keep people “alive” well past any actual signs of life.

Yup.
It’s too bad we don’t allow people the dignity to choose to not go through that bullshit.
We wouldn’t do it to our pets, but we get hung up on the “not playing g0d” bullshit.
My guess is that once we get “free” healfcare, this may change. The only problem is, the decision won’t be the family’s
