The dive was a knee-jerk reaction by a lot of ignorant investors. Biden's proposed tax increase would affect something like 0.3% of the most wealthy Americans. This has been expected for months and was already priced into the market. That's why you're seeing a rebound today. Intelligent investors with cash on the sideline are buying the dip.

My largest stock holding actually went up 2% by the end of the day yesterday, and is up another 4% this morning.
