All of the mental hospital closures were started by John Kennedy because his sister spent a lot of time in one.
When Hotel California closed down in 1977 dim Jerry Brown was governor of California.

It closed in '97, not '77.

And it was the actions of governors Reagan & Wilson that resulted in the hospital being closed, not Jerry Brown (Sr or Jr).

In Cali they added beds, but they moved from people with mental health issues to people who committed a crime while under the stress of a mental disorder. It’s all a big scam to pay more guards and whatnot. People in power don’t care about you, that’s how they got into power.

Bullshit. There were plenty of homeless in the cities during the Reagan/Bush years. Or else all those people asking me for spare change were entrepreneurs working on early crowdsourcing apps? My favorite story from those days was the junkie who pestered me for two city blocks until I got to my car. Then the she hag tried to climb in the car saying “I’ll suck your dick!” I had to scream in her fucking drug addled face before her needle tracked arms would let go of the door enough to allow me to make my exit. I’ve got more stories if you need, but the downtown businesses district was full of mental cases that needed treatment but were not getting it. Same was true in every other major city at that time.

It's nothing Like LA today. Skid Row has taken over the entire city during newscums reign over the state.
And they spend millions of dollars on it but there are thousands of people paid 6 figures a year to deal with the problem that is only getting worse.

LA metro has like 10,000,000 or so people? You have the best weather in the world. Rochester has less than 1/10 of that and winters suck. I’m so shocked the the homeless have made their way to Cali.
