College Football Playoffs, cancel them!
That's what I initially thought was the thread title. Lol.
Anyway, I'm going with underdogs in both. Though if UM gets beat and potentially in humiliating fashion, I will certainly enjoy that.

I can’t pick college games, but will go out and say the losers will blame the effects of Covid but not until after they lose.

UM was supposed to host Kzoo Tech ERRRR WMU in hockey on Thursday, but decided to cancel due to "covid protocols." Of note: WMU won at UM earlier this season.
Of course, UM is scheduled to play less successful Michigan Tech at home on Wednesday. UM isn't cancelling that game.
Really makes you think...

Sounds like some gamesmanship.
That said the NCAA and NHL need to update their Covid policies. The NHL is having a hard time due to the Canadian government’s cross border crap. The NCAA though could easily change their protocol but hasn’t.
There is no reason a fully vaccinated and boosted athlete who has zero symptoms but tests positive should be out for 10 plus days. Two negative tests 24 hours apart should allow them back in. Hell a single negative test should allow them back in.
But the NCAA has to deal with College Presidents who are in the severe overreaction camp with all things Covid.
