I was making a prediction that it will become law.
It will fit right in with your other laws that want to hamstring police. From the article above:

Seems like police in Washington are pretty bad at their jobs. Why do they deserve more money? Seems like austerity would encourage them to improve job performance.

Of course you look at it that way. So the cops suddenly forgot best practices or just started sucking at their jobs? That’s seriously your take?
But like I said, let’s take Seattle as a test case. Let’s completely defund the police and do away with the police force. Then let’s pass these bail reform laws, reduce penalties for crimes and see how it works out. Then we do the same in DC, NYC, SFO, LA, Philly, Chicago.
The results will speak for themselves.
