This has been coming for a long time in education. Mainstreaming students with behavioral, mental and physical handicaps. The additional time the teachers have to spend with those with special needs certainly takes away from the other students in the class. So the students with special needs get less attention and the other students get less attention, and schools somehow call this a win?

Given this is just one of a long list, is it any wonder attendance at public education is falling and private/charter schools is increasing?

Also, AP classes are not the way to go if schools also offer dual credit. Dual credit allows students to take HS classes and also get college credit for that same HS class.

My mom mentioned mentioned this the other day and I forgot to add it. As a teacher in South Texas she had to deal with English as a 2nd language a lot.

Anyone who can’t speak, read or write English at their grade level, should be taught nothing else until they are at grade level. Having elementary classes completely taught in Spanish doesn’t help the kids and just puts them further behind when the do have to function in an English only classroom.

But English only is racist many liberals claim. In fact it is completely the opposite. Preventing them fro learning English as a child sets them on a path to lower wage jobs.

You are the dumbest fuck I’ve ever met. Nobody is preventing them from learning English. Missing Math because your teacher is too stupid to teach it in Spanish while they are teaching you English is typical of your myopia. And yes it probably is because you are a racist.

Some, not all and pretty much only football and basketball.

But the old Rome joke of the N on the side of the Nebraska helmets stands for knowledge.
