It is. Especially steamed so it stays crunchy.

Steamed is second best.

First Best is blanched, quickly cooled in an ice bath as to retain the bright green color and nutrientz.

Served for breakfast at a really good restaurant, like with Eggs Benedict.

After blanching, sauté quickly with some garlic and EVOO. You will thank me.

I do this often but wasn’t ready to drift away from the original blanching point just yet.

Sautéing veggies in cast iron is my go-to. But I’ll thank you anyways. :grin:

Definitely cast iron. I'm getting ready to replace my infrared electric cooktop (we have no gas service) with an induction unit. We will have to replace just about every thing but our cast iron, which is mostly what I use anyway.

I like to Roast the veggies.

Roasted works too, as does grilling.

The CI works to do both. And well.
