I hope the Condoms and Baby Bears enjoy traveling to New Jersey and Maryland for conference games. And regularly getting their asses kicked by the likes of tOSU, Michigan, PSU and Bucky. Neither one has actually been all that competitive in the PAC for a while, but I guess there’s a bunch of money to be made here.
Oregon and Washington will probably be the next to bail, but they don’t bring the LA TV market, so I’m not sure which conference would have them. Maybe the Big Sky?
Won’t be surprised to see SDSU moving soon to the PAC.

We all knew something of this magnitude was coming after Texas and chOklahoma left for the SEC. They're going to make tons of money off SC and UCLAme moving to the Big 14. Olympic sports are going to hate it and rightly so.
Do all those Olympians who used to go to SC or UCLA go to other California schools (or schools in general) so they aren't flying to Madison in the middle of winter? That's going to be a major culture shock.
Do SC and UCLA start varsity hockey programs because there's enough football TV money sloshing around to justify the expense? Probably not but nothing is in the realm of impossible right now.
Kind of fascinating how Larry Scott utterly destroyed the Pac 10 in five years. Oregon made the CFB playoff the first few years. Then Scott signed the league to a garbage TV contract and it was all downhill from there.
One thing is for sure: SC and UCLA are going to make a lot of money on visiting gate for home games. Almost every Big 14 school save Rutgers has an a55load of alums who live in So Cal who will turn out to see even their mediocre alma maters play.

There certainly have been plenty of empty seats available lately in the Coliseum and the Rose Bowl.

4 conferences, 16 teams each.
Only the big boys get to play.

I'm thinking they just combine the SEC and B1G, split into 4 divisions and call it the National NIL Professional League. What's left over can still be the NCAA, have their own ranking and playoffs.
I'm thinking that the PAC might be better off in the long run without having to listen to the constant excuses for the University of Scandals and Cheats.

The B1G championship game can now just be The Rose Bowl game.

Interesting. I wonder if the Rose Bowl will end their tie-in with the PAC 12. If UCLA suddenly developed a decent program, they might play in their home stadium as the representative of the visiting conference.

Yeah, it’s all getting turned upside down Mikey. Like it or not, the traditional aspects of college football are getting taken down like a colorful piñata.

It would be cool to see the Aztecs join the Pac-12, and there's been some talk. They're actually 7-2 vs the Pac-12 since 2016, with wins against UCLA, Utah, Stanford, Cal, Zona and two against Arizona State. The only losses were to Stanford in 2018 and Colorado in 2020. So they'd be competitive. Plus they're opening a brand new stadium for their home opener in September this year. It would be great to see some of the Pac-12 teams come through town. I might actually go to a few games.

If Kal wants to come over to the B10, all gravy since some of our midwestern BTPCFB meat eaters need some good punching bags to hit before the grit of the cold November games against founding schools be had.

That's cool. I'll trade Kal any day for, say, Boise State, Fresneck State or UNLV. Even BYU.
Except then the Pac would lose a surefire entertaining annual punching bag ass kicking.
