I managed to catch some kind of crud
and swiftly spiraled downward throughout
the day yesterday. Typically at this time on
a winter Saturday morning I am getting ready
to head to the gym. As of this moment I am
undecided. Perhaps a good run and some
time on the tower of death (stair climber)
will work up a good sweat and have me feeling
better..... or make me feel even worse and not
worth a shit the rest of the weekend. TBD soon.

I am supposed to be repainting the dining
room, shampooing carpets, and getting the house
in order today for the fam xmas dinner tomorrow,
along watching the Chiefs and a couple of other
games. My son and I were also planning to have a
few nips from a bottle of JD and shoot the shit
this afternoon. TBD later.

Merry Christmas everyone! Just had my brother, his wife, and their 3 girls (sorry to 1-2 of you...they all very underage) here for the last 3 days. They just left to head back to Davenport, IA. My parents have also been in town for a few days but they leave on Monday.

This winter storm has caused record cold here in STL. Got down below zero with -33 wind-chill. It'll start to "warm" up today with maybe teens for highs (no not that kind of teens to those same 1-2 of you) and only around 0° wind-chill.

Supposed to be back in the 50s by late next week!

The main family Christmas party is tomorrow. We will be heading to a relative's house with about 30 others. Always a good time at that traditional party.

Got the Steelers Raiders game tonight. The Raiders have the best deep receiver in the NFL and the best running back in the NFL and the Steelers suck at defending both. I guess that tells you how I feel about their chances. At least Tomlin won’t call any kick return laterals.

I've heard about that, but I am nowhere close to having the technical abilities to do that. I have trouble just turning on the damn tv, it takes 2 remotes, and I screw it up all the time. Smart tv is smarter than me.

Full blast cooking now, dinner for 14 or so later tonight........

75 deg and sunny here. Went out for a walk with the wife wearing shorts and a tank top. We took the DIL’s out of town family (mother, father, brother and grandma) out to dinner last night and had a great visit. Just got back from my Saturday ritual trip to the flatlands for Costco and the farmers market. Will be settling in soon for the Niners. Tomorrow we have Christmas dinner for just the two of us. Tenderloin roast, Caesar salad, baked potatoes and something chocolate.

All it takes is a laptop, decent wifi, a TV, something to connect your laptop to the TV and a couple websites. Don't use a sensitive computer like your family or work computer. Use an old one or buy an old one.
