HEADS UP FOLKS- today is April Fool's Day.
Knobs everywhere will be looking to deek you with some
lame ass tales. Trust nothing outside of this thread today.

Kind of a fun new tune from Buckcherry -

Lots to get to, don't even know where to start....
hints of winter keep popping up here every 3rd day or so,
but I will still be pulling the deck furniture out of storage
today. Gutters need a good cleaning... that should be fun
with 40mph wind gusts.

Speaking of " " I have been riding Roach's ass for the
better part of 6 mos, to up the emoji game around here.
I view other php type boards occasionally and there are some
really good emojis out there. Frankly, the ones here suck, and
are very limited. I see Roach did add a few last week, but they
are even worse than the our original ones. A bow, water bucket,
cookie, sword??? What the fuck? They look like some kind of
bullshit that would have been in an 80's video game.
.net had a fairly decent selection. I would ask Russ what he used
but that chicken shit wont even acknowledge a question from
former members. We need the dancing bananas, the jerk off
bananas, etc. One of you tech proficient folks, please step up
and help Roach bring our smilies into the 21st century, please.

The jerk off bananas could be well used with this next take -
I am issuing a board challenge today. Find a hotter MILF
than Nita Marie. You have until 6:00 central Sunday evening.

Tuesday is my bday. I mention this only for 2 reasons. 1. I have
told Vaghub explicitly, do not plan anything. No get together,
no gifts, NOTHING. Not even a cake. I fucking love cake, but
I am still trying to shed a couple lb's from too many desserts
over the last year. I don't need any reminder that my days
are dwindling. 2. Looks like the yam will be indicted that
day. That will be enough of a present for me. (great spot here
for a dancing banana.)

The used to be great, now just marginal state of Missouri thanks
to all the ignorant, backwards ass rednecks, actually did something
a little bit progressive by legalizing the sale
of weed last year. It be became legal to buy without some silly
medical card gimmick the first week of February. I have a full
blown take on this, that I may or may not ever get around to
posting, but I will at least begin the conversation here.
In the shortest month of the year, without even having a full month-
24 days if I recollect, folks bought over 100 mill of weed. OVER
100 MILLION FUCKING DOLLARS OF WEED!!! The results for March
will be on in the next week or so. 125 mill? 130 mill?
That's a whole lot of herb. For the record, while never a big
fan of the chronic, I fully support the freedom for anyone to be
able to buy all the weed they choose to, and any and all taxes that
are placed upon these sales. (great place here for a stoner smilie.)

Meme of the week-

Happy Weekend, Y'all.

IN---- MLB in first gear. I'm getting a ticket package for some summer games here of our minor league Fort Myers Mighty Mussels. Hope SC has some tunes tonight. I gotta work on getting my Fallout Shelter back on air.
Enjoy.

Stormy is hot as donut grease. If she could somehow be the cause of the yam spending even one day in the clink, she should be anointed queen.

Couple friends coming over this afternoon, gonna throw some beef burgers & venison dogs on the Traeger. Watch some Final 4 action later.

Putting the finishing touches on tonight's show, shaping up to be an all-time great. Those who haven't experienced it are cordially invited into the 'Town, and the regulars are always welcome.

Back from a weeklong biz trip to California. Didn't get back home until almost 2AM this morn and slept until noon today. Needless to say, I'm not myself today. Kids are coming over in a bit to celebrate my birthday (today). Gonna shovel copious amounts of pizza down my gullet and enjoy the grandkids.

Tomorrow, process a large maple I had felled in the front yard a couple weeks ago. The chainsaw will certainly get a workout. The splitting axe will also (as will I). Won't get it all done tomorrow as my son and I are going to the Penguins game tomorrow but have a 4 day weekend next week and I should have it all knocked out.

NCAA BB and a vodka cocktail after the kids leave later this eve. Have a great weekend, everyone.

In.

Wife is working this whole weekend and Monday. So just hanging around the house and taking the boys where they need to be. At least I got a good nap in today while they were at friends' houses.

Speaking of the chronic, on Tuesday, the County of St Louis will have on the ballot Prop M. This is an additional sales tax on recreational pot to go towards the usual stuff government always claims tax money goes to. Odds are it'll pass.

I'm thinking the honeymoon phase for potheads in Missouri will be much shorter lived than the actual hippie infested states where it first became legalized.

As much as those numbers Dave mentioned seem quite impressive, pot shops are still relatively few and far between; as opposed to several within a few square miles or so in progressive areas of Denver and Boulder.

Around STL, even in those libshit infested "progressive" areas, you may find A pot shop. You'll also find a few in lower income areas too because who needs food and house utilities? We still have far less pot shops around here than out west. Fine by me. That skunky smell is annoying as crap.

Califorado is already reporting falling pot sales. It took 10 years for that honeymoon phase to die down.

Plus it's just so damn expensive! What is it $6 for a pack of cigarettes? It's $25 for 1/8 oz of pot plus all taxes on top of that. Then there are the edibles where you can pay upwards of $15 for a single cookie or brownie.

I used to deliver water to no less than 10 pot shops and several growing facilities when I lived in Denver.

Here in STL? I have two pot shops on my route and they're in Illinois under the same ownership. Even other routes have either none or maybe 1 dispensary.

It's still shocking it even passed last November in Missouri. I don't put blame on the right wingers here. I guess there were just enough progressives in the Central West End area of STL and in the college towns to push it across the goal line.

But, it was bound to happen anyway. It just happened here a lot sooner than everyone thought!

What exactly are you complaining about? That a $6 pack of smokes is too expensive? That weed should be cheaper because whatever backwater shithole you live in has cheap smokes?

$25 for a decent 8th is about the going rate in SF's legal cannabis distributorites. What's the going rate in Moose Lips, Montana, Wolfie? :?:
