Clue in USA Today puzzle:
Stat that’s very low for gender-affirming surgeries
Answer: regretrate
I gave up today. Bought myself a nice business skirt with a white blouse and some heels. Goddam, I look good. Positively gorgeous. I’m a knockout. The full beard may have to go, though.

NY Times crossword puzzles frequently have such clues/answers. Even something about the Obamas pops up a lot. I do . not recall such references to Trump or the Bushes. Given the source I guess it is to be expected.
