In the Harvard/UNC case, the SCOTUS said the 14th Amendment means what it says. You cannot discriminate on the basis of race. Progressives are butt hurt.

In the Colorado website case, the SCOTUS said that the 1st Amendment means what it says. You cannot abridge the freedom of one’s speech. Again, Progressives are butt hurt.

Why? Because Progressives are used to robed oracles of their choosing dictating to the supposedly self-governed what the laws are. When they do not get to force the People to do as they dictate, they get butt hurt.

If the Progressives truly believe the self-governed consent to race based policies, then it ought to be really fucking easy to use the political processes readily available to enshrine those views into law. But that won’t be possible because the self-governed do not consent. Bummer.

The same is true for forced speech. If the self-governed think it is a good idea to allow government to force you what to say and to punish you if you do not toe the line, then enshrine that into law. There are mechanisms in place that allow political decisions of that sort to be enacted. But the self-governed are not buying that flaming bag of shit. So if the Progressives that cannot force it on the self-governed are butt hurt. Bummer.
