Memphis can be a lot of fun. Wife and I used to meet my Ohio brother and his wife there yearly and we had a great time But we were lucky we didn’t get robbed, stabbed, or killed. Horrible crime then and it’s worse now.

And I thought California was the crime capital of the US. From the posts on our local Nextdoor you’d think we were descending into some kind of third world dystopia.

My Ring camera caught this stranger walking down our street today. Looks very suspicious.
Why are so many people moving out of CA? Mostly it's Newsom and the liberal pukes running the state.
Too many illegals crossing the "boarder" and freeloading on our tax dollars

We stopped in downtown Memphis in 1994. Saw the ducks at the Peabody and was going to Beale Street to check out the action and was accosted twice by aggressive panhandlers. Bailed and ended up out near Graceland at a motel. The next morning we played tourist at Graceland. It was cool.
