FSU blew any remnants of sympathy I may have harbored for them. Yeah they were missing a good many players. Well so was Georgia. Missing Bulldogs were due to injuries and transferring.

No Power 5 school that thinks they’re a top 4 team should look like the Noles looked tonight. Gave up almost 700 yards. Lost by 60.

FSU, have a little pride. There is no way in hell Alabama or Texas or Oregon would have played like that under similar circumstances.

Florida State quarterback Brock Glenn said the Seminoles should "absolutely" be considered national champions if they end the season as the only undefeated Power 5 team in college football.

I see your point. But none of these non-CFP bowl games mean anything. These are not the teams you saw during the regular season. They all lost a lot of players to the portal, and many have their best remaining players sitting out for the NFL draft. Yes, some lost more or fewer players than others, but that’s part of what makes it so ridiculous. It’s a fucking joke. At least next year there will be 12 teams with something left to play for.

College football is a mess. It’s a damn shame it’s come to the current situation.

FSU down 29 scholarship players due to opt outs including 15 starters and even some backups at key skill positions.

This isn’t even a shell of the FSU team you saw during the regular season.

With full knowledge of who they were missing, Vegas had them a 20 point ‘dog…they lost by 60.

Most of this problem is easily fixed with delaying the start of the
transfer portal. Most draft eligible players WILL suit up for meaningful
playoff games. If a few studs skip the Taxslayer and Poptart bowls,
no one will give a shit.
