Happy Easter!
There have been so many smart, talented, elite people down through the ages.
They are all in graves.
Jesus, the Christ, broke Satan's authority over us.
He broke the power of death, and gives life to all who believe in Him.
Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,
and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.
John 11:25-26

I’ve got the entire day to myself as wifey and her mom are off to the woods of southeast Alabama to celebrate their holiday.

Yep. That’s what my Southern Baptist, Bible-toting mom-in-law is celebrating. My sweet mil who can’t comprehend me not believing what she believes so strongly. I’m sure their church will be filled with trans persons who are welcomed with open arms.

Was Jesus black?
The true face of the historical Jesus looks nothing like the one many still see in their church’s stained-glass windows, in Hollywood movies, or in the image many carry in their minds.
Many scholars and archeologists now agree that Jesus was most likely a brown-skinned, brown-eyed man — more akin to a “Middle Eastern Jewish” or an Arab man. A commentator once said that if Jesus was taking a flight today “he might be profiled for additional security screening” by the TSA.

Given the region of the world in which He lived, yes, Jesus' skin was likely darker, imo, than what is often portrayed.
