June 1st. Fag month is here. Most of us will try to
ignore it as much as possible. Screwloose, you go ahead
and enjoy your month as quietly as possible, please.

I thought about putting the brisket PET in here, but opted
to do a stand alone thread. With that ... I got no time
for anything else today. 13 hours of grill biz, followed by
a couple beers at the pool await.

I’m going to start off the day with my usual Saturday morning run to the flatlands stopping at the farmers market and Costco.

My new chipper shredder arrived yesterday evening via Amazon. It’s in two boxes so I guess there’s some assembly required. Looking forward to this afternoon when I should finally be able to dispose of the neighbor’s yapping little dog.

The road to Omaha has started. LSU is at the UNC regional and play the Tarheels tonight. I have a daughter there now, she earned her PharmD and is finishing up her residency. Asked her who she is cheering for tonight and she immediately said LSU. I've raised her right.

The legislative Session has to conclude by Monday at 6:00pm. The money bills passed the Senate yesterday, and on Sunday we'll see in the House concurs. It has been a successful Session for my team, we had almost 2 dozen bills we were trying to pass (plus many more we had to kill or amend), and everything is done except just one more bill that remains in conference committee.

So today is my one day off. I'm still in bed, wife is still sleeping hard. I just ripped a morning fart, and our little dog who was under the sheets came out and jumped on my chest, and gave me this "wtf dude" expression.



Now the other dog has jumped on my chest, all active. Time to take them on their walk. Y'all have a good one.

No generator for me....yet. I have aluminum accordion shutters that cover all home openi9nngs----can do it in about 15 minutes.

I have made it abundantly clear that I have still have the humor
level of an 8th grader. I still laugh at fart jokes also. You always want
to try and get all woke, or Freudian and make me out to be some
old racist bigoted hater. When it reality, I just like funny shit and
being able to say non-PC shit in one of the places you can still do so.
