It seems that one poster recently has been making this sordid clambake almost unreadable and driving away much of our already mostly worthless traffic.

I'm not a fan of heavy moderation. The ignore feature is sufficient for most things. Maybe make a rule that JPG can't post political spam in non-political threads. If he violates that rule, banxorz.

I was the one who named the college football forum in fact.
I'm the original "corn fed stud" who coined, "BIG TIME POWER COLLEGE FOOTBALL" and that's been the name of the college football forum ever since. I'm a GOT DAMN legend.
Some of the guys are no longer with us, I regret.
But back then, the college football forum had the most traffic, it was HUGELY POPULAR.
You think there's "smack" today? It's NOTHING compared with what went on back then.

1. JayDuck posted in the BTCFB 6 months ago so he was seen, not viewed.
2. Lax I still am in touch with but not as frequent since relocating.
3. Van definitely checked out...we were valley kids at the same time.
4. MTADCF I met a couple times in L.A. but not in AZ where he lived.

You may have been on SC3 or whatever, but T1B did not exist before 2005. Even with your limited mental capacity it should be obvious that that wasn't 25 years ago. Claiming that all of the smackchat boards were all the same would be like saying that T1B and Trools.net are also the same. Different owners, different server, different name, etc. but still the "same"? Please.
And yes, I was there, starting around 1997 or 98. I think that there was another offshoot what I was part of sometime back then, but I can't recall the name. I wasn't the Mike from Colorado. When I first joined I was Mikey Likes It, or Hey Mikey, or something like that.

Our little poll concerning JPG ended on Thursday afternoon, with a large majority in favor of running the sorry asshole.
T!B, however, is not a democracy, so We (the Deciders, which includes Me and my Dad among others) have taken this under advisement. After keeping Holy the Sabbath (Fourth Commandment and Sunday for Protestants; Third Commandment and Sunday for Catholics; Fourth Commandment and Saturday for Jews), We have made the following decision. Instead of condemning him for eternity to the fiery pits of interwebs Hell, he will spend two weeks in Purgatory (also called a "time out" in some pre-schools) with a chance to repent and atone for his sins. Hopefully he will emerge from this experience a changed and better man (i.e., not such a loudmouth, bandwidth-sucking dick) and truly repentant for his many venial faults).
Sentence will commence as soon as I figure out how to do it.
