There are a couple/few political issues that perk up the ears of the general public in a debate, but for the most part, these debates are much more about appearance, presentation, who appears stronger and more vigorous.
It is about who best projects leadership.

The reality is, RFK's voice is a big liability.
On the stage with Trump, Jr. would come off as feeble and weak.

When Newsome first took office I thought he had the potential to be a good Governor. My opinion has been has been consistently decreasing ever since. Of all those on the list, though, he would probably have the best chance of beating DJT. At this point, the thing he's best at is pissing off the Neanderthals. He's said that he has no interest, but I have a hard time believing that.

And absolutely NO international trips in July, August or September to tire him out (I would rule out all trips, except to the bathroom, to have Joe completely zoned in). In bed by 6pm every night. Two hour naps every afternoon leading up to that debate. Joe will easily crush it, and with his eyes closed.
