Weekend Roll Call 6-29-24
I think I have posted something from these sluts before.
If not, enjoy for the first time then.
FOC heat and humidity about to whoop my ass,
but a little bit of cool front is coming thru later
today and will be welcomed. Too much grill work
to talk about as I prep for the Independence Day
blow out. 9 more days, then a bit of a breather.

Happy Weekend, Y'all.

It will be hilarious when MAGA cancels your Medicare. Then you'll come running back here to joke about Biden's quip, I'm sure.

Yeah I love hearing a bunch of geezers shouting for the government to stay away from their Medicare.Screw_Michigan wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 1:08 pmIt will be hilarious when MAGA cancels your Medicare. Then you'll come running back here to joke about Biden's quip, I'm sure.

Which is more frightening…
Biden continuing to be the face of this administration for another 6-7 months?
Or Kamala Harris in that position?
Folks, we are in the most dire position we’ve ever experienced.

Not a natural born citizen.
Btw, two of the supposed front-runners to be Dump's (birther king) VP candidate are also not natural born citizens.
Little Marco and Vivek Scrabble.
Oh... and RFK's dingbat VP candidate (N. Shanahan) is also not a natural born citizen.
Now stop screaming as you read this post, and stop being a lazy, mindless dreg.
None of the people I have mentioned were born on American soil to two parents who were both U.S. citizens at the time of their birth.
That is what a natural born citizen is.
It took a positive act of law (naturalization act) to enable any them to be a citizen.
Hence, they OBVIOUSLY are not natural born citizens.

Having some people over for the 4th and the 5th next week, so taking an opportunity to do some cleanup around the house and yard. A few weeks ago I invested in a pressure washer with a surface cleaning attachment. We have probably a couple thousand square feet of concrete that was installed 25 years ago and never thoroughly cleaned, besides broom, blower and / or hose, so I decided to break in the new toy, and have spent the past couple of days doing that. The first picture is an area that I haven't done yet. The part under the patio cover was even worse, with areas where rain has dripped through leaving greenish black stains. The next few pictures are "after." Still not perfect but a lot cleaner than it was.
All of the seat walls are going to be re-stuccoed in a few weeks (not by me)
As part of the same project, we're going to break the half circle seat wall in the middle and add a fireplace with saltillo tile accents and 8 foot chimney.
We're going to finish the area outside the gate with pavers and add a couple of raised beds.

I didn't watch the debate because we were busy celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary with an expensive dinner out. From what I hear it's apparent that Biden truly is a feeb who should have pulled out months ago, at least based on his performance during the debate (which really has approximately zero correlation with his ability to govern). The other guy is a serial rapist, proven liar, grifter, cheat and con man whose main talent is getting by with lies and bluster. He has no loyalty to the country, to you, or to the working man, and has basically promised to sell out to the highest bidder. His main role models are Putin, Viktor Orban, Hitler and the little guy in North Korea. His only main concerns are enriching himself and his family, and stoking his own ego. And you seem to be OK with all of that, at least in comparison to Biden. So, yes, we are truly fucked. But I would any day choose even a comatose Joe Biden over Donald Trump.Sudden Sam wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 6:12 pm Which is more frightening…

Arrived in Yucatán last night just in time for a bit of a storm. Tower near our villa is down, nobody has phone or internet. I drive to town to the grocery store and now all the texts are coming to my phone now. Kinda rainy and wind now but not bad. View from the back door of our villa this morning:
On the grill now:

You are firmly in the D camp, and nothing will provoke you to vote R in this election.Mikey wrote:But I would any day choose even a comatose Joe Biden over Donald Trump.
Both R's and D's have large loyal camps made up of people such as yourself, so they are not concerned about people like you.
You are a given.
Both parties are aiming for the undecideds, and no undecided was turned on by what he saw from Joe on Thursday night.
Worst presidential debate performance EVAR.

This is the first time, I think, that given a viable third alternative I might vote that way. I'm really getting disgusted with the Democratic party, the leadership especially. Not so much by their political political bent, but by their refusal to step aside and allow any new blood to participate. Too many octogenarians in the party leadership, unwilling to let go of any of their power and allow any of the younger generation to step up. Even somebody in their 60s would be a younger generation.Softball Bat wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 8:38 pmYou are firmly in the D camp, and nothing will provoke you to vote R in this election.Mikey wrote:But I would any day choose even a comatose Joe Biden over Donald Trump.

Want contrast. Imagine the youthful, energetic, charismatic Jack Kennedy in 1963. The Dems have no one like him again.

I’m sorry if I misinterpreted your posts. You seem so vehemently anti-Biden I guess I assumed you were drinking the orange Kool Aid. I think that maybe you and I are closer to agreement here than I realized. It’s just that given a choice between the two which is what we in reality are facing, there is one that I would definitely prefer.Sudden Sam wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 2:50 amMikey, I won’t be voting for Trump. Screw it. I'm going fishing tomorrow.

I’m afraid the leftists will destroy the country if he’s elected. They are more concerned with his demise than they are the country’s wellbeing.

I highly recommend the latest Rogan podcast where Eric Weinstein gently corrects Terrance Howard's crazier ideas and offers him advice on his less crazy ideas. Like Terpy's third leg, it's long and good.bungle clone wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 6:01 pm

Permanent Washington bureaucrats, most of them Leftists, are abusing, weaponizing, and permanently altering governmental agencies and entire systems of governance to "get Trump" while simultaneously protecting their own.
The FBI KNEW the Steele dossier was opposition research. They sold a lie to the FISA court.
51 CIA agents KNEW the Hunter Biden laptop was legit and they blatantly lied. The FBI had an iCloud backup
of the laptop and knew the data had not been tampered with. They didn't say jack shit and allowed the "chain of custody" story to sew doubt in the minds of voters.
New York created a law with a narrow window of legitimacy and pushed the E Jean Carroll case through immediately while other cases are mired in procedure.
The NY attorney general played Twister with statutes to find a legal violation they can barely define and Judge Merchan banned Trump's legal team from raising objections in court, allowing the prosecution an unfettered opportunity to sell a narrative to the jury. One accounting entry in a ledger turned into 3 dozen felonies. Such a thing has never happened before.
Judge Engoron invented a civil crime without a victim. That has never happened before and strangely, NY state government officials are promising it will never happen again.
I could go on but you get the point. A judge is releasing some documents from Epstein's trial 15 years ago. Why release them now? Gotta get Trump, version eleventyhundred.
Leftism is a virus and Leftists will not hesitate to kill the host (this country) to get rid of Donald Trump.
We're fucked.

Re: Weekend Roll Call 6-29-24
Thankfully the hurricane has weakened, I think it will hit the eastern coast of Yucatán as a Cat 2, and so it will likely be just a Cat 1 or tropical storm by the time it gets here. We're going to get a lot of wind and water, and probably lose power and phone/internet for awhile, but all that is so much better than dealing with a Cat 4.
Made a chicken sausage gumbo for the folks here today, they've never had a gumbo before so it was fun to watch their expressions. Yes they really liked it.
At the moment it looks like another day in paradise, except a bit more windy than usual. Y'all take care, rack the trolls.

We've got a tropical storm going now, not something you want to experience outside, but so far so good. The worst has yet to arrive but again thankfully it ain't a Cat 4 like it was earlier in the week. Leftover gumbo for breakfast.
