Michigan offering 2025 No. 1 recruit whopping 8-figure NIL deal to sway him away from LSU: report
There's NIL money, and there's what the Michigan Wolverines are trying to get 2025 No. 1 recruit Bryce Underwood to join them next season in Ann Arbor. Underwood, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound phenom who stars for Belleville in Michigan, has become an all-in target for the Wolverines' program.
According to On3, Michigan is willing to offer Underwood, who is committed to play for LSU next year, $10.5 million in NIL money over four years.
A High School kid being offered 10 million....

Is there any pretense anymore that these kids are students in any way? Maybe they’re just majoring in Football. It’s a pretty good deal for the NFL, I guess. Big time developmental system at no cost to them.

If these kids were actually students, you would think, with all the transfers, that we’d hear something about credits not transferring or someone losing some credit hours or something that real students encounter.
Naw, they ain’t students. They don’t even pretend anymore.

The days of “getting an education” are dead and buried. At least when you can make $2.5 million a year in “school”
