AKA Freddie Mercury just completed a no-hitter for the Padres against the Nats. Second no-no in Padres history.

Carry on.

Hey look, another White Sox prospect finding success somewhere else. Wish I was surprised.

I hear that there are trade rumors of Crochet coming to SD too.

"*against the Nationals" should appear in the record book.

I'm pretty sure Anthony Rizzo could blank the Nats right now.

Yeah but this is the Padres. We'll take whatever we can get.

22 innings, 0 runs, 30 Ks. A pretty good run. His previous start was against the Guardians.

Astros have the most no-hitters (17) since 1962 (inaugural season) and it’s not even close. Hell, they’ve racked up 6 in just the last 5 seasons with one coming at Yankee stadium and the other in Game 5 of the World Series in Philly.

As for Cease, the guy is doing some unheard of sh*t right now. I think he’s given up 2 hits in his last 22 innings pitched.
