Weekend Roll Call 7-27-24

I caught Billy Thorpe's "Children of the sun," on the Boneyard
a couple of days ago, and was going to go with that tune this
morning - but then this commercial started airing on local tv.
Watch this, and go find Billy on youtube yourself.

Is shim pissed because most trannies look better than she/it?
What a fucking crazy, trannie looking cunt!
I am way sick of polit commercials already and the state primary is
still about 10 days away. You can't turn on local tv and find one
commercial break that is not full of these blowhards, and 90% are
maga kooks all imitating the cult leader. It's funny seeing them bash
each other when in reality they are all the same. However, I must
admit, it would make a good for drinking game though. Grab a bottle of
your fave liquor and a trash can you'll need it very soon ..
drink up every time you hear .. trump, guns, conservative, liberal, border,
illegals, rigged, Biden (love this ...totally caught them off guard.. can't blame Joe anymore)
... all the keys words that must be in every commercial Pretty much the
equivalent of how country songs are written and you always have to have the same words ...
truck , dog, wife, train, smoking or chewing, tractors, blah, blah.

I do fully expect the pissed trannie in the commercial above to
break out this song at her next rally ....

It really sucks for a common sense politico guy to live in this state right now.
Sure wish I could waffle stomp all the christian nationalist shit right down
the drain. The only good thing about living here in FOC right now is a
having the team in red reporting for training camp last weekend.
There are are a couple of positions up for grabs this season. Left tackle,
most likely feature a rookie (potential issue) and need a guy to fill Sneed's shoes.
None are really of much concern at this point. News at 11.
The 3pete seems to be inevitable.  As long as Mahome's is healthy, you will likely
see me reference "3pete," most weeks from here on, until I start talking 4pete in
mid- February.

Speaking of Pat ...the duh's thought a Kermit puppet would be fun to mess around with
this week at their camp ....

[youtube3]https://www.youtube.com/shorts/aJbT10Yd_e8[/youtube3]

Funny stuff right there.
Pat didn't seem real amused though ....

Petty shit like that, and the horrible reminder of the xmas game last year will
motivate him a little.  I really don't see the duh's winning more than 4 or 5 games as is,
but they should really just go ahead and forget both of the upcoming games against KC.
Throw in the towel.  Bench the starters. Forget watching film and just game plan
for whoever the hell they will play afterwards.  Pat is going to destroy them, and likely
be benched himself as exits with 48 point leads at halftime in both games regardless.
Why they wanna poke the bear?

This post is getting long winded and I got shit to do, but ..... Puppet, what's up??
I really wish I had more time, but I have to acknowledge it's nice to know you
have a sense of humor about something. Fat, old redneck women seems to be
your jam. Easy target, but it's a start. I am determined to have you cracking
one-liners about nogs at the welfare office by Thanksgiving .... just to prove HPG and his
100% rackable and dead on analysis wrong.

Happy Weekend, Y'all.

Might check this place out today. Was an all you can eat seafood place for many years.

https://www.epicureandjackstavern.com/

Completely revamped I assume to cater to the golfers/tourists hitting the RTJ course in Prattville.

Hadn’t seen a snake all summer, then saw 3 yesterday. Harmless ones. One black racer was haulin’ ass across the yard. I think I shall call him Lewis Hamilton.

Epicure brunch was excellent. I went to check out their whole wings. Mmmmmmm…damn good. Dusted with something. Cooked over pecan logs cut at the owner’s nearby farm. Will be going back soon.

Tavern area is great. Comfortable as hell. Shitloads of beers on tap. Wish I could still drink, but such is life.

Coogs, if you hit the Prattville course again, be sure to check it out. Just across the interstate.

I'm dipping my toes into politics fir the first time and running for chairperson of my voting precinct. Tonight there's meeting of the county chapter of the RNC at some rich people's house. This is my first time meeting Republican leadership so I'll do my best to make friends but it'll be hard. The RNC is an embarrassment.

It sounds about right.

Whatever the win total will be, I can't see LV as anything other than 4th place in the West.

Too many excellent coaches and QBs in the division -- and the Raiders are low grade at both coach and QB, imo.

These days, everything funny or interesting ends up being filmed and splattered across social media.
So... what were these Raider brainiacs attempting to accomplish with their little show?

Ponderous.

Today was an example of my ideal WRC...
Tossing a few random topics out there, and seeing what sticks. Better board participation would be nice, but never mandatory.

I'm far too cloistered to know what a waffle stomp is but smart enough to not google it. Sounds like a cool breakfast cereal name though.

Rack you for abandoning politically correct team rebranding. I'm not an NFL fan but I respect the heck out of the KC Chiefs for standing their ground.

With all sincerity I fully and completely appreciate that invitation. But I have given only cursory attention to the league since the team jettisoned the name in favor of the Washington football team (later of course the brain trust tagged it "commanders") .

Thanks, but I'm not in game shape, I would dishonor the pick'em, and my season would be best characterized by a slogan like "Commitment To Futility".

Rack bungle clone. We're on the same page and I couldn't have said it better. Haven't watched a Redskins/WTF/Commies game since the 2004 - 2005 season. After years of misguided defense of Snyder on TNW, I had enough and quit watching the NFL completely. Snyder undermining Coach Gibbs was more than I could take. The meddling little control freak, his revolving door of coaches, his long list of ineffectual overpaid 'talent', and that shithole stadium can all burn in hell.

Last year I watched a few NFL games, trying to see if the product was worth following again, but still boycott everything Commanders. The only way I would back that franchise again would be if they built a new stadium in the District and became The Redskins again.

Thanks fellas!

U definitely understand the sentiment.

I do not like the current NFL product very much.

It is a far cry from the NFL I cut my teeth on in the ''70s and '80s.

But it is still a diversion for me, and I enjoy the 3BB competition a lot.

It is a very interesting game we have here.

Well put Bat. The current nfl product sux and gax. I have no heros or favorite teams, I am not a spectator sport person . . .

But 3BB is a different take and for me makes it engaging and fun again. Plus we get to be in on the ground floor when 3BB goes national. Don't fuck with Screwy about the odds, other than that have fun, win prizes, get girls.

Yeah well, the cessation of NFL in my life wasn't easy, and I even toyed with the idea of finding another allegiance.

How much of our time did Snyder waste? Playing fantasy football with the roster, etc. I appreciate your take.
